Last year, I wrote this article; https://geopoliticalintelligence.wordpress.com/2011/12/31/a-defining-decade-2000-2010-a-year-of-attempted-protests-2011-a-new-year-of-realpolitiks-2012/, in it, I predicted (correctly) how the so-called ‘year of protesters’, i.e. 2011, will be replaced by the year of realpolitiks (of the traditional old ways) and counter-offense, as we observe re-trending, such as;
1. back to 1980s:
In reference to the financial and banking sector, not learning anything from their recent messes and still going on with ‘excesses’, and being showered with tax-payers funds, for example, today news, another ”QE” or ‘TARP’ safe-line thrown to 30 EU banks of over 300 billion Euros, see RT ‘breaking news’, and Der Spiegel in reference to the persistent culture at http://www.spiegel.de/international/europe/0,1518,817795,00.html.
2. The crack down on Anonymous
I warned this year will be the securitisation of internet, as the modern robin hoods, the anonymous (yes, I am a great admirer of these parties), will face the ‘counter-insurgency’ tactics from the ancien regimes, as it seeks to protect itself and it’s, as the anonymous call these, the bourgeoises clients (the rich and famous of world power). Today, the first of the major operations got underway, as 25 hackers are arrested across the globe, in a sychronised operational efforts; read here at http://www.france24.com/en/20120228-police-hacking-anonymous-cyber-crime-interpol; and the counter-response from the remaining activists in retaliation of the arrests, http://rt.com/news/anonymous-website-arrests-hacker-461/).
3. The Crushing of the Occupy Movement
Does anyone else really remember these protests? of course not. I called it, they will be struck off, not from just the locations but also from the contemporary memories and histories, they are one of those destined to the ‘dustbin of history’.
4. The so-called ‘Arab-Spring’
Anyone still calling these as so, is as a fool as, simply, the lowest of fools. Watch Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen, Bahraini, Saudi, Qatar, and so forth, same old beauracts (in these is where the real powers of the states lies, not rulers, and dictators), ‘new puppets’ (these puppets are more amiable, like young puppies, these are very loyal and trainable; hence, China and Russia, Iran and Syria, can not allow (even with their despicable tendencies, of course) their reins to slip off, if these let off, the entire region is to be lost to the west, for generations to come, and this time, with no ‘conditions’ or ‘independent voices’, but, in short, the realities of new form of colonialism, without ‘settlements’ (the embassies, are enough, to control and command, at locale).
In short, my analyses have so far been proven correct, and continue to be so. There are ways to reshift the balances and outpace the counter-attacks, but alas I fear those who really protests have no such mental capabilities (resources are not an issue), to out-think the old dogs.
Before the end of the year, my new predictive analyses are;
1. anonymous will be almost non-existent
2. so-called ‘Arab spring’ will depend on the actions of China and Russia, to either hold the balanced system in check, or lose it completely
3. occupy, well they are gone
4. banks, business as usual.
and so forth.
