Written in 1944 & Still Relevant, and Thoughts on Iranian ”Terrorists”!

This section is extracted from Liddell Hart’s ”Why Dont We Learn From History?”. I am not a fan, not big not small, zero-admiration, of Mr. Hart. I believe he was the worst of vanity in a person, and a great robber of intellectual properties of others’ ideas and works, however, this little sub-section speaks to me as an individual who cherish freedom, privacy, liberties etc.

Disturbing trends

Looking at the situation today in Britain, America, and other democratic
countries, compared with the past, and from a more detached point of view,
it seems to me that, while there has been an improvement in some respects,
handicaps have increased in other ways—and on balance these may be
worse.

One factor is an excessive growth of “security-mindedness,” more
bureaucratic than realistic, so that it is often carried to ludicrous extremes. It
is certainly more difficult for Parliament (or Congress) to acquire the
knowledge on which to base useful comment on defense matters. Another
factor, related to the first, is the growth of “P.R.-mindedness”—and this
particularly affects comment by serving officers.

The articles that [Major General J. F. C.] Fuller wrote about existing defects
and new developments often caused trouble in the War Office and earned us
disfavor—but officialdom stopped short of forbidding publication. Now the
heretical ideas we expressed have become orthodox—but anyone who
attempted a fresh bound in ideas and a fresh look into the future might find it
more difficult to obtain permission to publish such ideas—or criticism of the
existing doctrine.

Thoughts on Current Events In India and Georgia: The Accusations Against Iran

First, where have all the good, and real, investigative journalists gone to? No wonder US and UK are falling behind even third countries, previously rabidly dictatorial, in the freedom of speech, media and expressions (hence, the relevance of above Hart’s little speech, perhaps one of the fewq of ‘his own thoughts’; indirect strategy, Sun Tzu’s, read it. The Brain as a Critical point of focus, Henderson among his contemporaries, Fuller, and back to Sun Tzu again, and so forth).

Anyway, here are some few thoughts, expressed as enquiring questions:

Q1. Why Georgia and India?

Georgia, is a vassal state of US, since the so-called US precipitated organised ‘Orange Revolution’ in the move architected against the Russians on the Balkans. In short, a perfect place to conduct a black operation ”amateurish” terror attacks, and blame it on enemy, part of propaganda warfare.

India, presumably, for it’s reluctance to accept the sanctions against Iran placed by US, sort of sending a ‘diplomatic’ message, etc.

Q2: Do we really know who the ‘terrorists’ were, are?

My analysis seems to say Southern Lebanese, from Southern Lebanese Armed Forces with close alliances with the west and the Jews of Palestine.

What their motivations? The fall of Iran and Syria is the fall of Hizbullah, and finally their ascendancy to Lebanese Ruling Power, etc.

I will leave it here, but these two enquiring questions are critical to undersatnding the layers below the surface.
