My Theory on The Evolutionary Cycles of The World Societies: From Anarchism and Back to Anarchism (Copyright)

IMPORTANT: Please ask for permission before using the ideas of this article. Thank You.

Recently, I have been staring a lot on this massive global map on the wall in front of me. I theorise a thousand theses, and of course, always sharing with you, some of these thoughts, when appropriate, of course.

Anyway, today, as I found myself wondering how societies evolved, from Hobbesian (and supported by some archeological and anthropological works) ‘the state of nature’, where the absence of any authoritative, centralised, or unified body, to govern the masses, and make laws etc existed to more centralised states, I slowly began formulating the theory of evolutionary cysles of societies. It is very interesting, trust me (all comment welcomed).

So I beagn, telling myself how once all states were mammothic, as a result of imperial games of land-grabbing and so forth. Then suddenly, local revolted and the empires broke into fragmented and unstable states, and these states further disintegrated, and today this phenomenon is ongoing; British Isles on the way, the case of Scotland and Wales, and Northern Ireland, even Cornwall, apparently, and we already had Eastern Europe, the Balkans, Soviet, and Africa to continue, south America, Asia and even perhaps, US, Canada-the Francophiles-Anglophiles crisis, and we can go on, but we shant.

In short, my theory on the evolutionary cycles of world societies, is that, we began dispersed and ‘governed in proximity’ within a small ‘tribes’ or groups, or networks, and we developed into massive geographical uber-nations of imperialism to micro-states , and the fragmentation seems to be going on, and soon, I predict, not in our generation or our children or there’s but it will come, that world societies will again found itself back to that horrible state of nature, or also known as, Anarchic State of Affairs. In other words, we contract and expand, based on pressure of ideological differences, constant wars, immoralities, disagreements etc.

Before I close, If I may leave you all with this little thought:

Ideological we seemed as well to have taken same path. Recently, one of my private students, political scientist, asked me to assist her with her project, examining the Liberalism-Anarchism ideologies; the differences and so forth.

I left her with this thought;

I told her, my thesis is, we all started out as anarchists, and then saw the need to centralise power under monarchies and autocrats, for security and prosperity and followed later on with us again claiming back our rightful powers under the ideology of liberalism, and still fighting the fight under the same ideology, and when we refer to it as liberatianism, we might say, we are simply back, or on our path back, to our natural state of anarchism again. Get it: Liberatianism is Anarchism, with ‘tolerable small non-existent government’, do not tell liberitanists this, they might shot you, hahah.

Anyway, hope it has been informative, and have a great weekend and stay warm.
