The Age of Competitive Global Politics: Others Catching Up

I am writing this report, at the early researching phase, so if you have any further suggestions, readings sources or view, I would be grateful for your contributions.

In the report, due August, I will argue that, the west (a) is not in decline nor (b) under siege from ‘barbarians’, but rather found itself caught up by others.

The rest have applied same succesful and competitive structural and systemic thinking that made the west a successful story for centuries, and now these a reaping the benefits of competitive politics and economics.

The west however, have a choice, to stick to horror-fantasies, of being a victim or a prey ready to be devoured, that maintaining ‘fearful’ relations in global affairs, or they can shift their strategies and take advantages of these changes, and really ‘denounce it’s natural right of first among the rest’, open up the international inbstitutions leadership to all, not western dominanted nominations and agendas.

The world is at crossroads, and the west, not the rest, will again define if it is going to be the same old conflicting worlds, or healthily competitive world of inter-dependencies.
