On The European Union Crisis: Stick to Economics Not Political Integration

There is one underlying root of the present crisis in Europe, or should say within the European Union Body crisis, which can be attributed not just to the present global economic troubles but rather at the root of it, is the Metternich Dream of a revived Holy Roman Union, deeper into a political union/a full integration. This, I strongly believe to be at the very core of the present crisis and if the individual within this body continue to push for political integration, thus, towards a unified Europe, they will simply,

bring it to a brink of self-destruction through the rise of new nationalists, challenging the new authority and legitimacy, and many other unsettled issues. It will, in short, one way or another be, simply, a self-destructive venture, one not recommended at all.

In short, stay to economic unity and the original agenda of an economic integration: do not ever try to push it further into politics, the signs are already showing negativity towards this approach.

Before we close this post, a pre-warning: I think Britain is going to call it, A DEFAULT (all seem to hinge on xmas spending at the present)

Anyway, here are some good headlines (links) for you, as per usual:
