This is the best book I have ever read as ‘management’. You can stack the rest up the shelves for dusts, and just have this as your holy managerial bible.
It examines the psychological, the structural, the physiological, the nurture v nature debate and ‘the elitist school’ on human nature, and provide you with a clarity so simple, so open for observation with ease, that I promise you, you will want to email the author and congratulate him on a ‘masterpiece’.
I have recommended the book to close friends, clients and anyone, literally, I come across with. I am not here, nor was this section, on book review, created to promote or tell you what to read or to buy, but rather to inform you of what I am reading and what I felt of my reading, and with Colvin’s Book, it is a great book, simple. Management rather preoccupying yourselves with the fallacies of Taylorism & the School of Scientific Management, of categorisation and rationalisation, read this book, and change yourself, your company, your staff, your organisational culture, for the better not worse, or same old same stagnation.
